Jim Nguyen is the Co-Founder, President & Chief Operating Officer of Autonomy, a technology company on a mission to make access to EVs easy and affordable through car subscriptions. Jim has held a number of leadership roles across the automotive industry, including executive roles in several public companies. Prior to Autonomy, Mr. Nguyen was the President & COO of USHG Food Lab, an incubator of food and beverage concepts in partnership with Walmart, Inc. Prior to USHG, in 2005, Mr. Nguyen co-founded TrueCar, Inc. (NASDAQ: TRUE), a digital automotive marketplace that operates over 100 auto buying programs including USAA, Sam's Club, American Express, Allstate Insurance, and AAA. While at TrueCar, Jim held multiple executive leadership roles, serving as CFO, Executive VP of Business Development, Executive VP of Partner Development & Marketing, and as President of ALG, Inc, the auto industry's data analytics authority on vehicle residual value projections, and a wholly-owned subsidiary of TrueCar. Jim started his automotive career in 1994 at Toyota Motor Sales, USA, where he was a product planner and responsible for developing the vehicle pricing strategy for Toyota and Lexus vehicles. Mr. Nguyen was a senior auditor and Certified Public Accountant at Deloitte & Touche. He holds a BA in Economics from Claremont McKenna College and an MBA from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA.
