Jennifer Linton is the founder and CEO of Fenris. Fenris leverages APIs to deliver instant insights with machine learning (ML) and enrichment data, thus improving customer acquisition for clients in the insurance and financial services industries.
Linton has launched three startups, including Elephant Auto Insurance, DriveFactor (now CCC Drive), and Fenris. While with Elephant Auto, a U.S. subsidiary of the second largest property and casualty (P&C) insurer in the U.K., Linton joined as the ninth employee and originated the marketing infrastructure for the company’s direct-to-consumer (DTC) online auto insurance company. She hired and led an internal team tasked with creating brand identity, launching the consumer website, and partnering with the IT and product/pricing teams to enable online rate, quote, bind capabilities. With DriveFactor, a VC-backed telematics provider, she led marketing and business development, including client engagement and strategy, while assisting insurer clients to innovate and sucessfully launch new pay-as-you-drive programs using DriveFactor's platform and technology.
Following, Linton recognized the need to streamline the digital quoting process while preserving underwriting integrity and accuracy. Linton saw opportunities to improve the customer journey, from lead to quote to renewal, and enable best-in-class customer acquisition. By combining alternate data, machine learning, and insurance expertise, her team is creating an industry leader in data, scoring, and technology to support sustainable, customer-centric growth in insurance and financial services.
Linton holds a bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology from Brigham Young University, and an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business Administration.
Linton celebrates her 25th wedding anniversary this year. She and her husband have three daughters and three Vizslas.
