Duare leads the Americas Property & Casualty Analytics team at Swiss Re. In this role he partners with clients to enable their digital transformation, creating insurance solutions that reduce premium leakage and reduce adverse selection. Examples include Impact+, which houses Swiss Re's Property (HOMA), Motor (MMA) and Commercial (COIN) proprietary variables, all built under a common data and modeling platform.
Duare has 20 years of experience in corporate finance and insurance, managing global projects and teams with a focus on strategy transformation, technology and data modeling. He holds an MBA from Columbia University and a BA degree in Economics, Politics & Philosophy from Oxford University.
Duare joined Swiss Re in 2008 in asset management to build the pipeline of Insurance Linked Securities (ILS) and weather derivates by leveraging his experience in CDO trading and derivatives portfolio management. In 2013 he joined the Reinsurance division as a senior structurer, managing complex advisory solutions for clients.
When he's not working, Duare enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids and mentors aspiring iron-man triathletes.
