Chris Donahue, Hippo’s Chief Underwriting Officer, has over 25 years of personal lines experience. He is responsible for portfolio management, underwriting appetite and execution of Hippo’s smart, simple and proactive home insurance products. Hippo’s integrated platform, which includes a growing suite of proactive services designed to prevent loss, is a modern approach to home insurance that brings customers greater peace of mind. Most recently, Chris spent four years at AIG as Global Chief Underwriting Officer for Home and Auto and as Portfolio Manager of North America personal lines. Prior to AIG, Chris served as the Chief Underwriting Officer of Chubb’s and ACE’s North American personal lines businesses. Chris previously held a number of underwriting, product management, and catastrophe management positions for ACE, Atlantic Mutual, and Prudential Property and Casualty. Chris also spent a year as a Financial Analyst with AM Best. Chris is a graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, CT.
