Andy Gibson is the Senior Vice President of Workplace Solutions Claims at Mutual of Omaha. Gibson has more than 30 years of claims administration, client service and operational controls experience. He joined Mutual of Omaha in 2016 as Vice President, Group Claims. He assumed his current position in June 2018. Prior to joining Mutual, Gibson was with Unum Group where he served for 13 years in various leadership positions in long term disability, short term disability, leave management, special benefits, and large case claims. He has been instrumental in the collaboration between Mutual of Omaha and FINEOS, helping to drive continuous improvement. As one of the first companies in the United States to adopt FINEOS, Mutual of Omaha has relied on Gibson's expertise to ensure the successful continuous improvement and utilization of the software. Through this partnership, Mutual of Omaha has been able to streamline its claims operations, provide better customer service, and enhance its overall business performance. Gibson's contribution has been critical to the success of this effort and continues to provide support as the partnership evolves. Gibson earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of South Carolina and has completed the Executive Leadership program at Vanderbilt, Owen School of Graduate Management and the Norton and Kaplan program on Balanced Business Scorecards at Harvard.
