Tunde is a dynamic entrepreneur and ecosystem builder, leveraging his diverse experience to enhance accessibility to insurance and drive market penetration. Originally trained as a physician, he transitioned from being the ex-CEO of an African health insurance company in 2019 to pursue broader interests.

His passions extend to technology, analytics, and business process automation, culminating in the creation of the Africa Insurtech Lab (A.I.L).AIL is an ecosystem  and venture building studio  aggregating  stakeholders in the Insurance &Technology space. AIL focuses on co-creating and supporting businesses, governments, and stakeholders that are tackling the widening protection gap issues  via technology whilst deepening insurance penetration across the continent.

Additionally, he has co-founded several startups and advises various others, whilst also bridging the gap for international companies(such as Instanda) via local  representation in Africa. He is an alumnus of the Imperial College Business School, United Kingdom and College of Medicine, University of Lagos.
