Steve Dresner joined Everspan as Chief Underwriting Officer and Chief Reinsurance Officer in July 2020 and was promoted to President in January 2023. Based in New York, Mr. Dresner has nearly 40 years of experience working in program business and surplus lines. He has underwritten and managed broad books of business that included property, casualty, and professional lines exposures. Prior to joining Everspan, Mr. Dresner held executive positions at Crum & Forster, Endurance Specialty, Endurance Reinsurance Corporation of America, Hartford Insurance Group, and GenRe. 

Mr. Dresner earned an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Clark University, Worcester, Mass., as well as a B.A. in Economics from Clark University.
