Sam is a reinsurance broker at Guy Carpenter, the reinsurance and capital advisory arm of Marsh McLennan. 

Based in London, Sam has a dual role at the company. Sam is focused on raising capital for new insurance and reinsurance businesses, with a particular focus in the Lloyd's of London market helping to setup new Syndicates. 

The other part of Sam's role is helping to run Guy Carpenter's Innovation & Emerging Risk Practice. This practice offers holistic reinsurance and capital solutions to clients in areas of new and emerging risk, and offers markets or investors access to returns from alternative risk business. Clients are focused in areas such as insurtech, parametric, climate and carbon markets.
