Rick Lanter is the Senior Vice President of Product Strategy and Development at CSAA Insurance Group. He is responsible for designing, building and delivering new and enhanced auto and property insurance products and underwriting strategy. He also ensures ease of doing business for customers and agents via the company’s digital quote and bind experiences.

Under Rick’s leadership, CSAA IG has modernized underwriting and risk selection practices; built new Pet and Motorcycle insurance products; developed modern quoting platforms for agents and customers; and advanced strategic direction in auto insurance, telematics, and property insurance.

Prior to joining CSAA IG, Rick held various leadership roles at Assurant, Hanover Insurance Group, and Travelers. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and a Master of Business Administration from Yale University School of Management.
