Pete D'Orsi recently joined CNA Insurance as SVP, Analytics and Data Management after a long career at Liberty Mutual where he was most recently their Chief Data Science Officer for their Global Risk Solutions Commercial and Specialty segments. He leads a team that delivers data, advanced analytics, data science, and artificial intelligence solutions for all aspects of the insurance value stream - from prospecting risks to underwriting, pricing, and claims management.

Over the course of his career, Pete has held a variety of leadership roles in commercial insurance, including Vice President of Small Commercial Product Management, where he guided the organization through an agile transformation, and Chief Actuary for Small Commercial Pricing, where he was responsible for delivering pricing sophistication across a suite of small business insurance products.

Pete has 20+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams that include data scientists, actuaries, product managers, product delivery, and technology teams. He's passionate about bringing together talent and technology to solve the most challenging business problems in a rapidly changing insurance market. 

Pete is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and graduated from Bentley University with a degree in Mathematics. He’s a dad to two girls, and you can find them at a soccer field, running a 5k, or skiing in the White Mountain of New Hampshire.
