Michelle is an investor at Sandbox Insurance, a venture capital fund investing in innovative insurance technology companies. 

Prior to joining Sandbox Industries, Michelle started her career at The Travelers in compliance and process efficiency roles within agency operations and then joined HSB, a subsidiary of Munich Re, as a Strategic Initiatives Manager. In this capacity, Michelle was responsible for leading innovation initiatives in product development, distribution, and business intelligence & analytics as well as managing relationships with insurtech start-ups. During her time at HSB, Michelle helped develop and execute a methodology to engage business units, identify innovation opportunities, and roll-out new proofs of concept with relevant HSB stakeholders.

Michelle holds an MBA from the University of Hartford's Barney School of Business and a B.A. from Franklin Pierce University.
