Mauro Levi D’Ancona is the co-founder and CEO of 180 Seguros, Brazil's first B2B2C tech insurance carrier. Holding a degree in Economics from Brandeis University and a master's in Administration from Harvard University, Mauro brings nearly two decades of financial market experience from roles at Goldman Sachs, Société Générale, Pátria Investimentos, and Nubank. At Nubank, he led the Capital Markets and Investor Relations division for three years and served as General Manager for Investment Products for an additional year and a half. Recognizing the untapped potential in Brazil's insurance sector—where traditional brokers and banks dominate and only 10% of sales come through partnerships—Mauro founded 180 Seguros to revolutionize the industry. The company partners with businesses to offer customized insurance solutions directly to their customers, seamlessly integrating these options into the customer journey. As of 2023, 180 Seguros has raised over $40 million in three funding rounds and secured an operating license from Susep.
