Mary Beth Eckert is an award-winning technologist and innovator and currently
serves as the Chief Information and Digital Officer at Pacific Life. She is recognized
for her strategic, results-oriented leadership and proven ability to execute and
deliver within the fast-paced digital landscape.

In her current role, she oversees information technology and is a key member of
the Pacific Life Management Committee. She is leading a transformation executing
an Enterprise Technology Strategy aimed at both delivering business outcomes and
laying foundational capabilities to build future growth.

Ms. Eckert brings over 30 years of insurance technology experience which she
leverages to drive innovation and transformation in her current role. Her past roles
include serving as Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer, Corporate &
Insurance Services at USAA, Vice President, eBusiness Technology at the Travelers
Group, several leadership roles at Zurich North America and at PwC, where she
honed her technology leadership background.

She is celebrated in the industry as the recipient of the 2019 DigIn Women in
Insurance Leadership award and the 2022 Central Texas CIO of the Year ORBIE
award, Large Enterprise. She has shared her insights and experiences on stages
including Insuretech Connect, Guidewire Connections, and Grace Hopper Women in
Technology conferences.
