Karan Mishra is a Life Insurance Technology Leader at EY with over 18 years of experience advising insurance clients on business and technology strategies. Karan recently rejoined EY, having left in 2017 to co-found his company Spraoi, a Machine Learning focused InsureTech. He helped lead this business from concept through its acquisition by FINEOS, and post-merger integration in a span of 5 years.

Having returned to EY as a Life Insurance Technology Leader, Karan is responsible for developing and growing the Life Transformation practice with a focus on innovation, and establishing alliances with leading solution providers to drive the systems integration (SI) strategy. Throughout his career, Karan supports and advises insurance executives on business and technology, both at an enterprise level –focused capability transformations, and focuses on growing new revenue channels through advisory lead deal engineering, partner networks, and market relationships. A well-known name in the InsurTech world, Karan has been a frequent guest and speaker at industry conferences and events including LIMRA, Insuretech Connect, and vendor conferences.
