Juan is the CEO and co-founder of Figuro, a startup that helps insurance carriers, agents, and brokers digitize and optimize their insurance distribution processes without relying on outdated systems and time-consuming manual tasks.

He is the co-founder of the Insurtech Association of Colombia, an advisor for the Pacific Insurtech Alliance, and an expert in financial well-being.

Juan co-created the Financial Education program for the National Association of Banks in Colombia and numerous financial institutions across the country. He has taught at the Faculty of Finance at Externado University of Colombia and served as a guest professor at UCL and the Pompeu Fabra Business School.

Additionally, he is a 500 Startups and Y Combinator Alumni.
