Jonathan Gonzalez
Jonathan is a serial entrepreneur and computer engineer with a deep passion for technology and its applications in improving people's lives. Motivated by his experiences following the devastating impact of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico in 2017, Jonathan co-founded Raincoat, a venture-backed insurtech dedicated to the development of fully automated climate insurance solutions and the technology that powers them.
Raincoat collaborates with insurers, intermediaries, financial institutions, non-profit organizations, and governments in implementing large-scale solutions that protect individuals and businesses from the financial impact of natural disasters.
With global operations, Raincoat has been recognized for its innovations by prominent programs, including Google for Startups, Fast Company World Changing Ideas, the IDEO Climate Resiliency Challenge, and the Verizon Climate Resilience Prize.
