Jay Rajendra is Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer for Arch Capital Group.  He is responsible for developing new business models, technologies and strategies that improve profitability and growth.  Jay built Arch’s industry-leading data science capability from scratch in 3 years.  Jay is responsible for leading Arch’s Digital Partners group, with a mission to be the industry’s first-choice digital partner.  Jay also runs Arch’s insurtech VC fund, which makes strategic investments in new, innovative companies.

Jay started his career consulting to large international (re)insurers and innovative start-ups on pricing, strategy and M&A.  He has an MBA from MIT, and a Bachelors and Masters in mathematics from Oxford University.  In his spare time, Jay provides strategy consulting for start-ups, entrepreneurs and non-profits in the U.S. and internationally.
