Since 2018, Virgin has been part of Allianz Life Ventures, the corporate venture arm of Allianz Insurance Company of North America (Allianz Life).  As managing director of Allianz Life Ventures, he is responsible for strategic direction of the program and seeing opportunities for investment and strategic partnerships with innovative startups and Allianz Life.
