Jay Weintraub

Jay Weintraub is the CEO and Co-Founder of Connectiv Holdings, creators of InsureTech Connect, the world’s largest event focused on insurance innovation and disruption. Weintraub is passionate about face to face as a means for catalyzing industries and has spent the past ten years creating industry leading events including LeadsCon and Grow.co. Today, in addition to InsureTech Connect, Connectiv Holdings has created and operates HR Transform, Manifest, and Blueprint. Jay is an investor in more than 40 companies and has been an advisor to a dozen more. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.

He is also co-founder of the HR Transform conference, focused on the impact of technology on the workplace. He previously co-founded QED Investors, a boutique venture capital firm focused on data-driven companies. Caribou and his wife live in Richmond, Virginia with their two children and two occasionally annoying dogs.

Kobi Bendelak

Kobi is the CEO of InsurTech Israel, which he established to promote and lead the Israeli Insurtech ecosystem. The company has four areas of activity: investments, consulting, media, and acceleration program. All those activities make InsurTech Israel the leading and most active company in the Israeli Insurtech space.
Kobi was the founder and CEO of Reshef Insurance Brokers, part of Migdal / Generali Insurance Group. Kobi has 22 years’ of experience in the insurance industry and holds a BA in Management and an MA in Law from Bar Ilan University and he is a Colonel (Reserve) in the IDF.

Hugues Bertin is the CEO and Founder of Digital Insurance LatAm, the first strategy consulting firm in innovation and digital transformation within the Latam insurtech ecosystem. He is a Partner of HCS Capital, a VC Fund dedicated in Insurtech, Cyber and Fintech for LatAm, US and Israel. He is the #1 Top Voices Insurtech ranking by The LatAm Insurtech and in the top 100 of insurance innovator ranking published by Lightico. He is also the Managing Director of The-Digital-Insurer Academy for LatAm. Hugues is also the Director and Co-founder of InsurteChile, Association of Chilean Insurtechs, Co-organizer of Insurtech LatAm Forum event. He graduated as an actuary in France, he spent 20 years in Europe and Latin America, where he has led or advised actors in the insurance industry. Former CFO, CDO and Chief Actuary of BNPP Cardif Argentina, Ex-Advisor of SSN (Argentinean regulator) for SSN Innovation hub. He was also board member as vice-president of BNPP Investment Partner Argentina.

A startup enthusiast and insurtech pioneer, Ilya is the founder and CEO of Bold Penguin, a rapidly growing tech company headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. Ilya started his career on the front lines as an agent, and has been on a mission to upgrade the industry through one successful startup after another. Recent recognitions include “Executive of the Year” by BizTech and Best in Biz, “People’s Choice Innovation Leader of the Year” by the Insurance Innovation Awards, and Columbus Business First’s “40 Under 40” Class of 2019.
Stacey Brown

Stacey Brown is an insurance technology executive with a strong tech background and a successful track record for transforming organizations where diverse experience, strong intuition, persistence, and hard work is needed. Stacey is known for leading and differentiating by building a data-driven, technology-led culture. Atop his responsibilities as an insurance IT executive, Stacey leads a globally recognized InsurTech community known as InsurTech Hartford. Stacey is recognized as a top InsurTech influencer and has an expansive global network.
Tanguy Catlin

Tanguy helps companies build out their digital capabilities to deliver rapid results and sustained growth. He leads the McKinsey Digital hubs across North America and Mexico. Until recently, Tanguy shepherded the firm’s property and casualty insurance work in North America.
Tanguy helps leading global financial-services firms with analytics transformations, digitally enabled business model transformations, and core-technology-modernization programs. He also serves insurance clients more broadly on issues ranging from strategy and organization design to claims and underwriting.
Tanguy was a Siebel scholar and Fulbright fellow. He is a trustee of Carano for Children, a former member of the MIT Sloan alumni board and of the Massachusetts chapter of March of Dimes.
Matt Connolly

Matt is a serial entrepreneur who founded Sønr to help insurance companies better source and connect with best-in-class investment, acquisition and partnership opportunities.
His company Sønr combines a SaaS market intelligence platform, which tracks 3+ companies globally, with a team of researchers and analysts. It also hosts a suite of innovation management tools designed for teams to better collaborate and track scouting, PoCs and investment activity.
Matt’s team now works with ~50 insurers around the world including Liberty Mutual, Travelers, WTW, RGA, Munich Re, Generali and Tokio Marine.
He is a frequent public speaker, enjoys learning from fellow innovators, and is at his happiest when he has a snowboard strapped to his feet.

For two decades Carpe Data CEO Max Drucker has led innovation for the insurance industry as a data visionary, always at the forefront of technological change. Before Carpe Data’s launch in 2016, Max excelled as both executive and entrepreneur—in 1998 he served as CIO and co-founder of eCoverage, the nation’s first online auto insurance company. Looking again toward the future Max founded Steel Card, one of the world’s first InsureTech companies, which was acquired by ChoicePoint in 2006 and is now owned by LexisNexis, earning him recognition by Insurance & Technology Magazine as one of the Top 10 Innovators of the Decade.
Susan Hatten

Susan Hatten is Chief Operating Officer of BrokerTech Ventures and oversees corporate and community engagement at Holmes Murphy. She is immediate past-president of the Variety – The Children’s Charity of Iowa, serves on the ChildServe Board of Trustees and on the United Way of Central Iowa Tocqueville Society. Susan is active in several women’s initiatives including Holmes Murphy’s Women Optimizing Women (WOW), Lead Like A Lady, and Million Women Mentors. Hatten was named the 2017 Meredith Corp. Danilo has extensive experience in both Life and Non-Life (Re)Insurance, having held a number of roles in Swiss Re and Hannover Re.
