Lori Vodraska leads the strategy, innovation, and portfolio teams for the Benefits and Protection business at Principal Financial Group®. Benefits and Protection serves more than 130,000 employers and 4 million people through a broad range of protection solutions. Principal helps business owners attract and retain key talent, protect against loss of income and assets, and secure their financial future. In her current role, Vodraska is responsible for designing and executing strategies for growth and profitability within Benefits and Protection, in close partnership with business executives. Vodraska joined Principal in 2013 in a strategic communications role and spent ten years coaching senior executives across Principal on strategic messaging, and providing direction and support for key initiatives supporting small to midsized businesses. Prior to joining Principal, she spent 12 years in corporate communications at Nationwide. Vodraska holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Northern Iowa and a master’s degree from Drake University.
